No doubt about it, the AKC 2020 most popular dog breeds rankings are in and Labrador retrievers are #1!! I have had labs all my life and I just love them. I look at their beautiful, shiny fur and structure of their head and body and just see artwork. And add onto their great temperament, they make wonderful family members.
I keep tabs on all of Anna's puppies to see how they are doing. Of course, I want to know everything and get tons of pictures. And the one thing most of them tell me is how much their pup has become part of their family, that he/she are loving and always want to be near the family. Anna is a love bug and it's so heartwarming to see it in her puppies. Our Honey from Anna's first litter, is a big lap dog. I was reading the kids a bedtime story and Honey was on the bed (of course!) and not close enough, so she got up to lay her head on me, then slowly half of her body was laying on me. I loved it and managed to still read the book. We are watching Anna's puppy, Etta (6 mos) from her second litter and she is the same. She follows you around and needs to keep an eye on everyone. She loves the kids and their Legos! We have five labs in the house right now from a 13 year old boy to a six month old puppy, they are all laid back and get along.
Here is a picture of Anna (on the right) and her two girls, Honey on the left and Etta in the middle.
